Events in 2017 relating to Highland Retreats; the Architecture and Interiors of Scotland’s Romantic North (published by Rizzoli, 2017)
Architectural historian and journalist Mary Miers will discuss some of the key themes of her new book Highland Retreats; the Architecture and Interiors of Scotland’s Romantic North. Little known material, combined with superb images, will shed new light on some of Britain’s most remote and outlandish houses in a talk that will both delight and shock, but also dispel many myths.
